Vegetarian,
A person who is vegetarian is someone who doesn’t eat ant meat, poultry or any other product that comes from dead animals. Being vegetarians can come from a life style choose or that maybe you were born with this problem was you have a reaction with meat.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder. In a blender, puree the bananas and dates; add the applesauce and soymilk. Mix well. Pour the banana mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just moistened. Fill muffin cups with the batter and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until lightly brown and firm.
High cholesterol
Cholesterol is an essential type of fat that is carried in the blood. All cells in the body need cholesterol for internal and external membranes. High cholesterol is a big problem. Honey cinnamon pretzels
Ingredients
- 8 cups (2 L) unsalted pretzel twists (a salt-free variety)
- ¼ cup (50 mL) honey
- 1 tsp (5 mL) cinnamon
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375º F (190º C). Place both the oven racks in the top half of the oven. Cover 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
2. Place pretzels in a large bowl.
3. Mix honey and cinnamon together in a microwavable bowl and microwave for 20 seconds.
4. Pour over pretzels and toss until coated.
5. Spread pretzels over the two baking sheets and cook for 8 minutes.
6. Remove from the oven and loosen from the parchment paper. Let cool. Place in an airtight container for up to one week.

1/2 | Cup | Butter, room temperature |
2 | Tablespoons | Sugar |
2 | Teaspoons | Vanilla extract |
1/4 | Cup | Liquid sugar substitute |
1 1/4 | Cup | Flour, all-purpose |
3 | Tablespoons | Cocoa powder |
2 | Teaspoons | Instant coffee |
1 | Teaspoon | Baking powder |
1/4 | Cup | Raisins, seedless |
1/4 | Cup | Nuts, chopped |
2 | Large | Egg whites, room temperature |
Directions
1. Cream together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add vanilla and sugar substitute to creamed mixture and mix lightly.
3. Stir together flour, cocoa, coffee and baking powder to blend. Add to creamed mixture and mix at medium speed 1-2 minutes or until blended.
4. Add raisins and nuts to dough and mix lightly.
5. Add egg whites to dough and mix until egg white is adsorbed into the dough.
6. Drop dough by tablespoonful onto a cookie sheet that has been lines with aluminum foil or sprayed with PAM.
7. Using your fingers dipping in cold water, shape dough into round cookies about 1/4" thick.
8. Spread the dough carefully because the finished cookie will be the shape of the dough after it is baked.
9. Bake at 375 F for about 12 minutes, or until the dough springs back when touched.
10. Transfer from the hot cookie sheet onto a wire rack and cool to room temperature
Lactose intolerance
Lactose intolerance is the inability to digest lactose. Lactose is a type of sugar found in milk and other dairy products. Lactose intolerance happens when the small intestine does not make enough of the enzyme lactase. The enzymes help the body absorb foods. Lactose intolerance is more common in people with Asian, African, and Native American or Mediterranean ancestry than it is among northern and western Europeans, lactose intolerance is very common in adults and is not dangerous.

Chocolate peanut butter balls
Ingredients
2 cups natural peanut butter
2 cups confectioner's sugar
1 cup crisp rice cereal
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup hot water
Directions
Mix all the dry ingredient together as well as you can with a large strong spoon. Add the hot water to the mixture, quickly moistening until the mixture comes together to form a ball. With a measuring spoon scoop a tablespoon size amount of the mixture and roll briefly into a ball. Toss 1/3 of balls in a different topping of choice, for example -confectioner's sugar, grated coconut, sprinkles... and arrange on a serving platter. Store at room temperature.
